PhD Student
Adam Hall is an engineer and PhD student at the University of California San Diego. His research interests are wakes and stratified turbulence. His current project is coadvised by Prof. Sutanu Sarkar and Dr. Sophia Merrifield. This work is a study of wake turbulence in upper-ocean environments, investigating the effects of varying stratification profiles on wake development.
Alongside his research work, he dedicates himself to the academic community through his work with the UCSD MAE Graduate Student Council. This includes orienting incoming graduate students, running social events, and organizing speakers for a seminar series.
